120-odd painters (and some of us are very odd indeed) gather at the behest of Eric Rhodes, publisher of Plein Air magazine, to paint the natural beauty of the Adirondacks, regardless of the weather, bugs, bears, and (my particular downfall) poison ivy. Seven solid days of painting, communing with nature, making and hanging out with friends. A good time will be had by all.
